Kickboxing (Beginner)
Kickboxing (Beginner) is our beginner program for adults. In this program, you will learn the core techniques to throwing punches, kicks, knees, and elbows in a fun, safe and cooperative environment. Each 45-minute lesson addresses attack and defence techniques, broken down into simplified drills to facilitate the learning process. You can start the program at any time and participate in any class without previous experience and, since safety is our priority, there is no competitive sparring in this program. Upon completion of the Kickboxing (Beginner) program, you will qualify for advancement into the (Intermediate) level program.

ABS BUTTS & THIGHS
This is an online class All Levels. A great class to start out with if you are new to exercise, are looking to work generally on your body and fitness, or to tone your lower body. Some classes use bands, tubes, weights or bars but equipment is always optional –every exercise can be done with or without. This class is also suitable for men.

Barre
Get the best of both worlds by doing the Pilates Barre class. This class is a fusion of the Barre technique and traditional Pilates strength and cardio exercises. Set to upbeat music, this class will provide high energy interval peaks to drive a sweat-induced, continual fat-burning class. Central to the workout are resistance exercises on and off the bar which are athletically based to shape and tone the body. Pilates props are also incorporated to provide a comprehensive total body workout that results in muscles being worked to the point of fatigue for that all-important caloric burn. You will leave feeling re-energised, knowing how to safely regress and progress exercises. Come and join in the fun and experience a full body BARRE workout.

Tabata training is a high-intensity interval training (HIIT) programme that has been proven to increase endurance and performance for your aerobic (cardiovascular) and anaerobic (muscular) systems with its format of 20 seconds of work and 10 seconds of rest.

This is an online class. Tabata was founded in Japan by Izumi Tabata. It is a high intensity interval training conducted typically in a circuit format. The method is designed so that each exercise lasts 4 minutes long, going through 8 intervals of 20 seconds at a very high intensity followed by 10 seconds of rest. Althernatively 2 exercises can be combined for an 8 min round at intervals of 40/20. Participants are encouraged to go at their max in each interval. Tabata training is known to improve both the aerobic system as well as the anaerobic system and is appropriate for participants looking for the next challenge in their fitness.

Reformer Pilates combines the traditional principles of mat Pilates with a Reformer machine, for an intense, dynamic and creative workout that will keep you coming back for more! Using light to heavy resistance from a specifically designed pulley system to create an all over workout that targets all the right muscles! SGT PILATES REFORMER
The Pilates Reformer was created by Joseph Pilates - the creator of Pilates. It is a bed-like frame with a flat carriage, moving on wheels within the frame. The carriage is attached to a set of springs that provide differing levels of resistance as the carriage is pushed or pulled along the frame. The versatility of reformer exercises can be done lying down, sitting, standing, pulling the straps, pushing the footbar, perched on the footbar, perched on the shoulder blocks, with additional equipment i.e. in different body orientation and using different planes of motion. Reformer exercises are designed to promote length, strength, flexibility, coordination and balance. These exercises in turn lead to better posture, graceful and efficient movement, with particular focus on injury prevention and rehabilitation. The exercises provide enough resistance and movement, one of the keys to achieving the long, strong muscles and core tone without bulk that Pilates is known for. Pure’s Reformer Classes are classified as small group training (limited to 6 only in a class) to allow for individuals to receive more personalized coaching from the instructor. It is highly recommended that participants have attended Mat Pilates before joining Reformer Classes. An extra booking fee applies for SGT Reformer classes.
